I LOVE this book. I originally had bought it for a general leisure anatomy book (because I'm a nerd), but it actually became incredibly helpful in my anatomy class. It clearly explained everything my teacher was barely explaining in class. I forgot I had this book honestly until half-way through the semester, then I started using it as a reference to go along with my notes from class and I have gotten 100% on everything since! I wish I found it sooner! I recommend this to any student taking anatomy as a great, easy-to-use, book. Helpful pictures are also throughout the book.Product details

The book was required. But the cd included with study games is great! I don't think I will resell it when I am done. I think I will keep it for reference.
I had to get this book for a Public health course- it has everything you need to study for a basic medical course-I would have appreciated more interactive multiple choices (quizes) and they should go with the answer key to the book. But a good study book.
As expected
great book for a novice
Bought this for massage therapy school. It has beautiful graphics and the provided cd is great, but the text itself is not great. I've used other textbooks at the university that were much more clear.
This book was required by my PA program as a crash course A&P the first few weeks. It was a mandatory purchase, which I now lament. The book is obviously well written and organized with great graphics, but is not appropriate for med school or PA school use. It has great explanations, but lacks depth. Great for undergraduate overview, but coming from a physiology background, this book just sat on my shelf.
The material in this book is easy to understand. Everything is nicely spaced out, and there's tons of diagrams and pictures. I used this book in a medical techniques class and it was very helpful, I got an A in the class thanks to this book! The terminology is very user friendly and understandable. It's an interesting book, but not for advanced anatomy and physiology. Great book for beginners!
